There’s a very interesting podcast here on the history of the Carndonagh Line for all you rail enthusiasts.
It features a radio recording by Buncrana’s Fr. Jackie Fitzgerald from the 1980s, in which he discusses the history and significance of the the Carndonagh Line, officially the Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway.
Ian Kelly shared the original recording from NWCR with Sean Beattie, who has produced it now as a podcast and shared on his website and Spotify.
